David Lintott - Head of Strategy
David Lintott is a Barrister specialising in public law and with a keen interest in the environmental impact of land use. He founded Restore Nature in 2021 bringing together a talented group of likeminded professionals including renowned Head of Conservation Dave Goulson.

David is highly experienced in his field and combines this with a real connection to the natural world and deep concern for the growing biodiversity crisis.​
David couples professionalism and integrity with an innate ability to communicate. Attributes which are at the heart of the Restore Nature mission.
David Lintott is a public law specialist with more than 20 years of experience working primarily in areas of local government, planning and housing. A knowledgeable advocate with extensive experience of the higher courts, David has successfully represented a range of clients including local authorities and other public bodies, private clients and residents’ associations.

David was called to the Bar in 1996, after completing a law degree at Cambridge University. Chambers and Partners, which identifies outstanding law firms across the world, describes David as “astute, knowledgeable and dependable”, “very good on his feet”, and that his “level of experience and application is exemplary”.
In 2021, David founded Restore Nature, an organisation which would be both quick to react and effective in lobbying for nature, natural capital and the associated benefits for society.
David wants to see Restore Nature grow into an effective lobbying network, based upon working closely with MPs, businesses, corporates and communities with a view to restoring the natural world and changing or challenging the obstacles along the way.
