Restore your....
The natural world is sending us a clear and urgent message—it's time to embrace its complexity and rethink our role in restoring it.
Public support for nature restoration is strong, yet many people in the UK don’t feel empowered to take action. Every space plays a vital role in rebalancing our ecosystems.
Our 'Restore Your' programs make biodiversity restoration accessible, providing individuals and communities with the knowledge and tools to drive meaningful change.

Restore your ....
Meadow
Britain has lost an estimated 97% of its wildflower meadows since the 1930s. Meadows provide essential habitat for a huge range of plants and animals, and play a significant role in flood mitigation and carbon capture.
In 2023, Restore Nature launched the Merlindale Nature Tweed Meadows Project, working with 24 land owners in the Scottish Borders to restore these important habitats.
Equine paddock
The UK has over 1 million horses and donkeys grazing an estimated 1.5 million acres. Many equine owners have a strong connection to the land and the natural world. Restore Nature aims to help owners to navigate the complexity of nature, redefining our roles within it and creating biodiveristy-rich spaces while better meeting the needs of domestic animals, people and wild-life.

Garden
The 23 million residential Gardens in the UK make up an estimated 1 million acres of land. Smaller land blocks and non-woodland trees are vital linking habitats for wildlife and are currently untapped as biodiversity contributors. Restore Nature will inspire and enable individuals and communities, bringing practical actionable programmes to transform spaces into biodiverse and resilient ecosystems.
