A seasoned media professional with a career spanning ten newspapers and three decades, Stewart grew up in a small Scottish village before moving into a career in journalism. In this capacity he contributed to The Observer, The Times, GQ, The Scotsman, The Herald, BBC Radio Scotland, The Guardian, The Independent, The New Statesman, The Irish Independent and Time Out, holding executive roles at Scotland on Sunday, which twice won newspaper of the year. He has additionally worked as features editor, magazine editor and foreign news editor and was awarded Foreign News Editor of the Year. Since then he has made a career in advertising and media design, ranging from start-ups to high-end corporate (NMG Finance) which makes Stewart adept at designing Restore’s media profile.
Stewart’s fascination with the natural world, and his deep love of the Scottish landscape, extends back to an early age. Restore sees Stewart’s media experience as critical for content, PR, presentation and garnering an audience.
